SPTR Wiki home
What's this?
This is a site intended to support the new Physics curriculum in Scotland.
The physics teachers of Scotland are a gregarious and friendly bunch who have an envied reputation for their willingness to share their time, effort and resources for the benefit of the community and their students. We have, through the good offices of the Institute of Physics, the SPUTNIK mailing list and a number of websites operated by teachers, including sptr.net which is principally for sharing resources. All of these sites have limitations.
With the substantial changes taking place to the curriculum in Scotland, this new site might provide a vehicle by which resources may be quickly and easily shared: not only that, but also course content and advice might be easily made available to those who need it.
This site is very much a work in progress.
Scottish Physics Teaching Resources
For teachers of Physics in the Scottish curriculum. This site is not intended for direct student use: there are plenty of good places for them.
