Ian Smith at the HSOG has (re)launched his website for pupils studying National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher. Ian says:

I Started a series of online help sessions this Tuesday with a lesson on electric circuits, resistors in parallel, potential dividers and transistor switching circuits. Since I’ve put so much work in to it, I’d like it to be available to more pupils, although I did initially test the system with pupils in my own school. After each live 45 minute session, the videos can by viewed on my Youtube channel so there’s no need to see them live. I even post the questions as a downloadable PDF so that pupils can take a closer look at them. My next session is on Tuesday 26th, where I’m going to cover the remainder of the ‘Electricity and energy’ unit including conservation of energy and heat.

From the website at http://www.physics-podcast.co.uk/:

The website was started in early 2009 and was the home of ‘Mr Smith’s physics tutor podcast’. Re-launched in 2016, we’re working to provide pupils at all levels with easy to understand videos and notes which will help them in their study of physics.

The resources are aimed at pupils studying physics at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher level. Physics teachers will find the website of use too.

Good luck with this, Ian, and thanks for letting us know about it.
